Mystery Connector.....anyone know what it is???

Found this was unplugged today any ideas? Its the one I'm holding in the middle of the pic. Its coming from the back of the motor, 87 TBI 350.

What color is the wire? Purple wire is O2, Beige/light brown wire is the timing control.

Crap, i forgot about that. I think we have a winner here. I doubt the 02 sensor wire would reach from where he's holding it to where it needs to be but the EST wire is just to the right of where he's holding it.
 
I cant see the pic but I would have to guess its for the timing, being near the distributor and what not. I only have experience with TBI in my 89 3/4 ton, I dont know how much things changed between bodystyles, I would guess not much as this is a GM product and not a f**d.
 
Negative on the no start problem. The EST wire is unplugged to set the base timing at 0 degrees (engine obviously needs to be running for that). Then when you plug it back in the computer takes over the timing duties.
