So I have found two green wire near the break boster that are just hanging out. One would assume because there is two wire that it would be just one wire that has broken.

For some reason I dont beleive that to be the case, because they are both going back in the same wire bundle. If they were supposed to be together it would mean that the wire had a big loop in the wire bundle and that seems odd, and the wires dont necessarly line up with each other as one would expect when a wire breaks.

One green wire rings to ground

the other green wire is open.

These wires are in the same wire bundele where the two big red power leads come out by the break boost and go to the power distribution terminals on the fire wall just to the left of the power boost....

Needle in a hay stack.....

Wonder if this could be related to my cruze not working...

If I were smart enough I would show a photo to help explain better but I cant seem to figure out how to attach a photo

Probably be a good idea to tell the audience what year , make and model of vehicle your working on

you can link a photo from another website using the image button then paste the link from the website and it will appear in the post.

You said its solid green or is it green stripe on black wire?

Also knowing what year helps a bunch.

sorry guys, it is a 1990 silverado and both wires are solid green...

It has cruse power locks power windows power mirrors so far everything works on the truck but the cruse and AC that I am aware of. I am just picking things a part 1 by 1

green on GM's is usually a coolant sensor, or ac system. At least in the engine compartment.
quick google search turned up this:

coolant sensro wire is hooked up already.....It actually routes from the front of the valve cover up to the wire loom that runs back across the intake into the large wire loom.

TBI motors have two coolant temp sensors one for the computer(front of the intake manifold) and one in the drivers side block for the gauge.

both are hooked up, the intake one has a two wire connector and the block one has a single green wire spade style connector that slides up onto the button of the sensor.

That last one shows a dark green and light green for the cruise control. Are yours the same color?

Aftermarket tachs usually have a green wire that you run to the distributor.

Are there wires on your A/C compressor clutch? There are green wires that run to the cycling switch on the side of the receiver/dryer and then to the clutch.

The wires are green, identical colors

No aftermarket Tach

I will check power in reverse when i get home

I am still in beleive these wires are factory based on appearance and they way they are wrapped in the original tape and wire loom
