No doubt!!!:D :D

I'm close to the Ohio turnpike...exit 11 (cleveland)

Do you want to go on the pre run scout trip JK5 or anyone else?

I might come on the scouting trip, depends on what happens at paragon. Someone I know is renting the park and I was planning on going to that, but if not I could come to rausch creek, if you don't mind a few jeeps tagging along. Need to fix my front shaft, broke it twice this weekend. Instead of lengthening it like I asked, the driveshaft place gave me a longer slip. The weight of the d60 and the flex of the 52's pulled it apart under power.
The south side and west side are great, ran stouts trail, 10, 18, 6, 5, did the red hill climb on 6, thats what taco's the shaft first, second was the valley behind lynns with a hillclimb at either end. Ran quite a few others but I was following which means I wasn't paying attention, just wheeling.

Count me in so long as the k5 is finished. I just checked map quest, and i have 740 miles to travel. I guess i need to start saving money!:wink1:

I am kinda confused:confused:
what is the set date for the bash next year?

when are we looking at a pre-run date ?

Dood, I've driven to 650 each way to go down to NC... SEVERAL times...

then again, gas was under 2 bucks a gallon. :doah:

We are planing on July 13th, 14th and 15th 2007 at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in Joliett, PA Just 2 hours from both Philadelphia and New York City, 2.5 hours from Baltimore. Lynn who is one of the managers has been very nice and helping to see we have a great time. They have made sure the trails are wide enough and want us to have a fun time at their park.

Sept. 8, 2006. It is a Friday and he is comming to the park to pick up a seat. I am going to try my best to be there.

I am taking a prerun scouting trip on September 8, 2006 (thats next month) at the invitation of one of the people who run the park. He said that if I brought a couple of others with me he would give us a guided tour of all the park. So we can see every thing and have a good trip report for the forum *hint lots of pictures*.

If anyone wants to go along your welcome. If you can't go the whole trip make it to Toldeo and I have shotgun open as the old lady is not going. Just let me know if you want to go on scouting trip.

and call it "NORTH EAST" :rotfl:

It is more Central to the whole east coast. Maybe Blazer Bash should be called "South West" using your train of thought! As it was previously posted by others ECBB was a flop and died off. As you may not have read the whole thread we are calling this SUMMER BLAZE. Don't be a hate'r.

This is open to all the people who want to come to it. I would like to see people from all over come if they can and want to. We in the four wheel drive community need to bond together and be a band brothers. Just as things start to come together people try to pull it apart. I have gotten BF Goodrich to donate over a $700 value certificate for tires and am talking to many other companies about coming. DO NOT let a few male contents rain on this.

Sept 8th eh? I think the paragon thing is the middle of the month so I might make it. 630 miles round trip for me!

Good grief, lighten up... In case you didn't notice I did use this ( :rotfl: ) smiley. I'm not a hater, I was just trying to make a flippin joke... whatever.

As for ECBB being a flop, I doubt the west coast BB (or EJS) were standing room only the first year or two. I'm sure there will be another try to organize an ECBB next summer and hopefully it will grow some more. That said, y'all have fun at SUMMER BLAZE!

btw, I think the word you're looking for is "malcontents".

nvrenuf I wasn't saying you specific. You know how some people love to stir up crap on this forum just for their little kicks. All I want is for everyone to have a great time at this. I am putting a lot of time and effort into getting this off and running.

Hell I could of kept the tires for my rig God knows I could use new rubber. I have that to send off to CK5. I spend a lot of time emailing and trying to find out who to talk with. Maybe I understand about being brothers to much from having a M.O.S. of 97 Bravo and being a retired cop as a group of like minded individuals you have to stick together. As strength is in numbers much like a pack. If you are off to your self you are easy to cut off and kill!

As the price of gas goes higher and higher some will start to point at our life style and start targeting use much as they try to curtail B.L.M. use in the west by four wheelers.

So I apologize to you sir if what I typed sound off to you it was not meant to be toward you. I am sorry.

One less beer at the bar = one more gallon of gas.

One peanut butter jelly sandwich for lunch= money saved for gas.

Of course, if your already on a 4 for a dollar mac and cheese diet with tap water to wash it down... you better find some other options unfortunately.

hopefully my truck is done by then and ill be willing to drive the distance as long as a diesel will get better than 10mpg on the highway haha

Raush Creek

Did Raucsh Creek this weekend!! Lots of fun, and a full size can make it thru. Garlic Breath proved this out.
Great people, and seems to be no problems with management, we had the run of the place. Very helpful

Not alot of campsites, you will have to dbl up on the sites.

Inclines were awesome, seatbelts and good brakes required!! Mudholes not to deep although we haven't had alot of rain lately, one was posted at 5'

Garlic Breath did you fix your driveshaft?

Great weekend and great people up there. My back is feeling better after 3 days of normal use. Jim
