I have any old set of doors off my donor k30, I am going to hack them up and make them 1/2 doors. Last summer I modified my regualar door hinges so the doors are removable, so I be able to swap these doors very easily. I would love to see some pics or even hear your ideas, thoughts or things you would do if you were making a set. Thanks

you can try going to the Pirate board and looking at the toyota boards and stuff.there are a few toyotas for sale there that have some real nice half doors made out of half doors. i know that a toyota aint the same as chevy or whatever. but you said you wanted a good idea. and damn, those toyota boys are creative. check it out. http://www.pirate4x4.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=6&t=007634

I was thinking about going lower than most of the pics that I am seeing, does anyone see any reason not. too. I mean heck I was thinking about going low enough so you dont even have to open it to get in. but yet leaving enough to catch stuff from falling out.

because the chevy doors are so heavy and would be a pain to swap them, i've been tryin to think of a way to maybe cut the door up and weld panels where needed in a way that i can put a jeep soft door inside. like take the door and cut a hole in it that is the exact shape of a jeep soft door. and then be able to put the jeep soft doors on there and take them off. i'm not that great at decribing things but i tried. maybe it'll get the wheels turnin.
