Alrighty i need to get the torque specs for a 10bolt front and rear. Im thinking of dumping some 4.10s in it so it will tow the LUV better. So what are the torques ill need to know? (bering caps pinion ect.) Thanks.
Side bearing caps 55-60 ft. lbs.
Ring gear to carrier 50 ft. lbs.
Adjusting nut lock bolts 15-20 ft. lbs.
Cover bolts 20-23 ft. lbs.
Cross shaft lock bolt 20-25 ft. lbs.
Ring gear backlash .005" - .008"
Pinion bearing preload new 20-25 in. lbs. / used 5-15 in. lbs.
Side bearing preload slip + .008"

These spec are for GM 8.5" 10 bolt and also 8.875" 12 bolt
I'm pretty sure they don't give specs in that booklet. That booklet is more of a how to install your gears and read the gear pattern type thing. It also warns you of different types of things to avoid doing.
