im in the market for a good but not over priced aluminum radiator for my 1990 gmc v3500 6.2 diesel . Local parts stores want $450 plus for a stock replacement . I cant see spending that much on a stock replacement , i dont use the oil cooler and have a external trans cooler.

My truck keeps getting pretty hot when i go up hills , the gauge will read right to the bottom of the red and sometimes goes into the red , i have done thermostat , flushed coolent, fan clutch, flushed radiator at home and the radiator im running now came from another parts truck cause mine was leaking. Normal freeway temp seems to run around 200degrees

The guys here are awesome. Prices are great also. I have one of there radiators in my Suburban and I believe I paid almost 200 less than Jason did for his K5 radiator. Both are stock replacement all aluminum. I'm also picking up one of there all aluminum intercoolers for my dodge this week. I've put numerous radiators in equipment over the years from these guys. Call and chat with them. Don't be afraid to ask them questions about there custom build options either. They have an in house build department.

Post up what you think after talking to them. I'm interested to know if you have as good of an experience.

You may need to check you new thermostat some are to long and hit inside the housing which can cause over heating .
