I am looking to move only the rear mount. Has anybody ever done this? I know the frame angles up but I think that i can fab up a rear frame section and box it all together to gain the extra length. I was hoping that somebody here has done this and had taken some pics of it if not i guess i will have to post up when i get it all done.

You've got enough room without "adding frame" for 64" springs.

Keep in mind that by leaving the front hanger in its stock location you'll be adding 6" of wheelbase and your gastank will make contact with the differential case.

That will be ok i am moving the tank. I will be running a cell and it will be mounted higher in the rails. I was hopeing that i had enough frame to do it this way. Sounds like i do. Hopefully somebody has a pic of this set up.

You should have enough frame to install 63s and even push them back an inch or so farther if memory serves. Been a while since I went through the install. Search around, zcarzcar just installed 63s on his K5.

I did serch and i found alot of good info but not alot of good pics and thats what i was after. I didnt know if somebody had some pics any where.

I have done it. I centered the flip with the rear crossmember and bolted on each side of it. I ended up switching the sides on the flip since I took this picture to get a better shackle angle.

I posted this on the wrong thread earlier... dumbass. I think the sunburn I got today made me stoopid.

Here is a picture with the front hanger moved forward 3". Even if I moved the hanger back to the stock location I'd have PLENTY of frame.
