Does anybody have the name of a quality and knowledgable transmission builder in or around middle Georgia? I'm looking for somebody that can make a 700r4 live in front of 4.56 gears and 35" tires with about 400-450 hp. I was looking real hard at a level 3 from Bowtie Overdrives or the Raptor from PATC but I just can't drop that kind of cash. I've got a 700r4 from an 89 burb and I want to get somebody to build it up that uses all the upgrade parts that the 700r4 needs.

I've used Godley transmissions exclusively for both Ford & GM vehicles. I ran across them years ago when I bought an El Camino with one of their trans. Best tranny I ever had. I just had one done about a year ago for my 80+ year old mothers Falcon. godleytrans.com

I'm in middle Ga and have a guy that rebuilds transmissions on the side. He's a mechanic at a dealer in Perry. Not sure how long a 700r4 will last with your setup if you're rough on the skinny pedal, but I can give his contact info if you want to go that route. He's built 2 different trans for us so far, and all has been good with his work.
