Need advice on a cheap reliable 4x4 to replace my CUCV with

I don't know. I seem to be more female in my thought process. Can't make up my mind. I really need a truck. But that would have to be a short bed to still fit into the garage. So why bother? But I would need to upgrade the blazer to be able to tow the boat any distance. Just did a 150 miles in the blazer today. I really need to fix the cruise and the tires need balanced in a bad way. So time to sell, right?

If balancing tires is enough to sway your decision...you're even less stable than I realized. :eek1:

:haha: :haha:

How can you have storage limitations? The shop is plenty big for any length of truck, right? :deal:

My son has a 2007 trailblazer that I sold him. He is at 135k on it. Only issue so far is a piece of trim inside the drivers door that broke.

Ask @Larry how much he likes Trailblazers. :doah:
:haha:Phuck dat! No Trailblazer/Envoy for me than you. I’ve never been a fan of the GMT360 platform. Odd interior, spongy ride, rear doors that don’t seal worth a hoot and a total service nightmare to do just about anything. Not one of GM's shining stars if you ask me.

As far as SUVs, you can’t beat a Tahoe/Suburban for the large needs but the Toyota 4Runner is the rig for a medium to small size SUV. The FJ Cruiser is a pretty cool rig as well and will hold/increase in value for decades to come now that they are out of production. The FJ is already considered a modern classic as odd as that sounds.

I thought the FJ had a few issues with frame flex or body flex which led to bent and torn body panels during light wheeling.
