So ive came to the conclusion that i didnt do my homework right and now i have a dilema. When i bought my painless wiring kit i thought it come with all the connectors needed for a "factory replacement" but it did not. In my ignorance to rush and get started on it quicker i cheated and cut the wires for all 4 doors, P/W, P/L, etc etc. So im faced with 2 decisions that i see as plausible. 1. hit the junkyards and get all the connectors i need from a donor burb with P/W, P/L or 2. I can swap in all 4 doors from a 70's model with no power doors. Anyone done this? Any advice?

Id say ditch the power unless you really need it. These power window systems sucked the motors wore out and were generally slow and problematic. High maintenance at the minimum. Crank windows and locks = no maintenance

See that's one factor i just thought about. I have 3 doors completely stripped of all interior pieces and i still cant see the motor and from the looks of it i dont want to replace the window motor.

The motor is down in the bottom area of the door, you don't see it until you pull the regulator assembly out of the door. The motors aren't that hard to change, and I wouldn't consider them problematic. They just fail with age.
Power windows and locks aren't really needed in a pickup or K5, but are VERY nice to have in a burban or crew cab. If you wanted though, you could switch over all the guts in the doors, or the complete doors and go manual.
