Fast answers appreciated swapping the input gear from my np241 and i did not pay attention to how deep the pocket bearing should go. Is it supposed to be flush? Slightly below flush? Untill it bottoms out? Also the plug behind the pocket bearing in the input shaft does that need any kind of a sealer? Working on it now.....

Might find the info here:

Thanks unfortunately the input pocket bearing is not pictured. Im 99% sure its supposed to go just passed flush there is a slight bevel there and i think i need to drive the bearing just passed that. Thanks for the quick response

Flush is good. Its similar to a 208, make sure the oil hole is not blocked...

I went a little passed flush i think it should be good we will see. That being said the input shaft on np241 dont have the oil hole in the video but good info for np208s

My bad...made an educated guess.
The 241 has an oil pump as I recall, it'll get the oil circulating good. I have to rebuild my 208 before it's trailworthy again.
