Wanted Need D70HD cast spring plate

Mine is has a broken ear on the pass side (right) Not sure if the year is relevant but mine is 1976 C30 dually Dana 70HD axle. I need the spring plate only. The sway bar mounting plate goes underneath of the spring plate....see the red circle in the pic below.

I wasn't aware GM used cast plates on these rears. Never saw one before until now. Only have seen stamped steel plates.

I'm not sure what years had them, mine is a pretty original 76 w 10,000gvw and a camper special?

If I remember correctly, they were cast through most of '76, and a few '77 models had them
Kinda like the early GM D60s had a heavy cast iron kingpin cap on the passenger side, as opposed to the lighter(and cheaper) stamped steel cap we all recognize now

Finally got to dig, and can only come up with stamped steel plates. I am sure I had a set of cast plates, but must have done something with them a while ago. Sorry

If Zim doesn't need yours I'd be interested in them if they're in good shape. I have a set here but the u-bolts are rusted to them and I can't get them out. Also would you have the cast plates that sit on top of the springs to hold the u-bolts in place? Needs to be the D70 type.

I found that one when I posted the top plate in that thread I was really hoping it would work but
It's only 3.5" tubes mine are 4" tubes

Nope, no trolling. When I opened that link you posted about the top plates the lower plate you're looking for showed up at the bottom of the page so I clicked on it and found it to be like what your broken one was. The rest is history. LOL

Looks like the D70HD stuff isn't popular enough to warrant reproduction

I was out in the shop tonight and guess what? I found the top plates for a D70HD right beside the plates for a 14FF. I knew I had the 14FF plates but totally forgot about the bigger ones. So now I'm good for the top plates but need some lower u-bolt plates now.

Yep, for the 4" tubes. Mine are all rusted so thick on the insides and the u-bolts are also rusted to the holes. Can't beat them out with a BFH at all.
