I am helping my cousin install a 4" rough country lift for his grand cheeroke. I know its a jeep but I still need help.
The lift is basically just bigger and taller coil springs. We have the driver side on and all hooked up but now we have the other spring on but the top spring seat and bump stop is at an aqward angle and keeps catching the spring. I think the problem is that the suspension is bottomed out and my axle is pushed back because of the radius arms.
The only thing I can think of is disconnecting the 2 arms, moving the axle forward and lifting the axel up to seat the spring in place and mount the shock, linkage and then reconnecting the springs.
I will be seating here waiting on any help, we are in the middle of this and have about an hour of day;light left.
BTW, damn Jeeps!
thanks
