need help deciding on axle gear ratio

hey guys, i need some help deciding on what axle gear ratio to run ive got a 90 blazer with 38.5x16x16.5 swampers a 241 tcase, 700r4 tranny a stock 350 until im finished building the 360 hp 383... i was thinking that 4.88's would work but if anyone can point me to a ratio calculator or is running somewhat the same setup id be stoked to hear from you! thnaks

I have a 350/700/241/4.56 with 35's and wish i had 5.13's.
My vote with 38's is 5.13's.

I think 4:88's with 38's would work great. I run 4:88's with 35's and it seems I went just a little too low beacuse I turn about 3000 RPMs when doing 75MPH also with a 350 and 700 But does great when off the road

what kind of driving? i run 5.13s with 39.5's and i love it. youve got overdrive, so id definitely go 5.13s

You have overdrive. I highly recommend 5.13's

umm thanks fellas, as for pics not yet, i mean i dont want to show her yet. not ready for the expose... but as for axles, d60 front (w/truetrac, and dually wheel spacers) and a 14bFF ( detroit and discs, and 5" custom 4140 wheel spacers) thanks for the opinions on the gears, 5.13's sound good, ..... pics to follow soon!!!!!

Can you post pics of your wheels and spacers on the rear I would like to see how they fit on the hub I am tossing around the idea of a spacer on the rear for HMMVW wheels but I would like to see some first.

thats not a prob, although it might take me about a week to post the pics as i am about 1500km's from my computer where the pics are. im using the spacers to clear hummer wheels and they work great, got them wide enough so the front and rear wheels are the same width..
