need help: engulfed in my ball joint project

Working my way through the ball joint project finally, and have a question:
Should snap rings be replaced? Auto parts store's rings didn't look as beefy as the originals...

OEM snap rings have better quality....If your original rings have no signs of pitting and are in good condition Id use um...I know your talking about ball-joints, but when I rebuilt my 205 case the kit came with no snaprings....besides if your not happy with the snap rings in you kit a good hard ware store should have replacements.... I remember you asking a while ago about this just wondering what brand you went with?..Ive found dana (napa) or moog to be about the best no others stand up in quality...TRW im not there biggest fan.../forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
