Need help Identifying a K5 model

does it also have that extra window or no? and is the frame lengthened or just the door?

Trea18's truck has been converted to a full top so there's no top or upper side panels. I'm pretty sure only the door was stretched.

ah, so then it's likely this is just a similar build, but someone just had it done more properly?

That's what I think.
that's what i'm thinking for now too, for now, i'll just say most likely mystery solved, unless there's anyone else out there with more info on it, would be epic if we could figure out the owner as he'd probably know best

Not sure why I'm chiming in on this. I know less about K5s than most. But is there something funky about the fender reflector/light or is that just the angle of the picture? It looks like it is too long.
Plus, what the heck is the name of the car?
Never mind about the car. I was able to zoom in. Its an Acadian.

An example of Canadian Pontiac. Almost identical to the ChevyII.

Also sold at Pontiac dealers in Canada back in the day is this car. It's not a Chevelle...

The funny thing about Beaumonts is although they were sold at Pontiac dealers, and they have the Pontiac emblem up front, nowhere on or in the car does it say "Pontiac". Growing up here, I've never heard one referred to as a Pontiac Beaumont. They were always just Beaumont's.

Anyways, that K5 is ugly. :D

Trea18's truck was built by a Canadian company I believe... He had his suburban done there too I think. So it could very well be a version built by the same place, just a different way

that's good info, still have any clue on the company?

It may be in his suburban thread. Or early on in his k5 thread. I'm not sure though.

I'll try to take a look through, though i'm not sure how long my attention span will hold out on all that searching :P

actually wow, it was post number 9, "A small company in Smiths Falls Ontario, Canada named KVB Mfg" i'll have to google them and see about contacting them if they still exist, see if they have any memory of it

EDIT: okay, google searching shows the company does indeed still exist, and it was founded in '79, which is old enough for such a conversion, I'll have to send them an e-mail about it

okay, I also asked my friend how far away this museum was from Smith Falls, and it was only an hours drive away, so it was indeed local. I tried to get in contact with the company for confirmation it's one of theirs, but for now, we seem to have the answer, thank you guys :D
