need help with emissions stuff...

I removed all my emissions junk and went all motor. My edelbrock carb has two ports in the front for vacuum lines. right now I have them blocked off but I need to know what they are in case I should be using them.

also, where can I trace the wire that hooks up to my electric choke??? Its apparently missing so I need to go to the starting point and maybe run a new wire.

Truck is an 85 k5 5.7. Had a quadrajet on it before.

On mine one was for the vacuum advance on the distibutor. The other was pluged. The really big one is for the pcv valve
