i am putting disc brakes on a 14 bolt semi float and i picked up some rotors today for them and i went to put them on and the won't fit over the axle flange, the rotors i bought are for a 1986 k20. they asked me if it was hd or regular, i don't know if it matters or not.

hmm if you could get pics dude might help a little more but sounds like you went with a newer style rotor ideal would be a 78 3/4 chevy front rotor for a HD44 front but thats just my guess pics would def help my friend

Cheers

i checked on advance auto parts, same part # as the ones i bought

*Semi* float?

I didn't know anybody made disc kits for the 14bsf. All the instructions and kits I've seen are for the *full* float axle, and the rotors bolt onto the hub.

On a semi-float, what do the rotors bolt onto, the flange?

PM I've got says "The rotor is off a '89 1/2 ton 4x4, standard cab, long bed. You will need to machine the center hole to fit over the nub on the axle shaft."

This is to fit a rotor on the 14SF.

they are blazin offroad's and they are for full float and semi float
