need help!!!!!

ok guys . was working on an 01 chevy pickup today and ran into a little problem . i cant get the torque converter bolts out . it looks like they take a torx bit but a t50 is to small and t55 is too big so i need to know if anyone has ever changed the tranny in one of these and how they got the bolts out and if u used any special tools . thanks in advance for the help

engine/trans combo? could possibly be a torx-plus or even a triple square?

its got a 5.3 and i think its the 4l60e whats a triple square

i havnt seen triple square yet. but i have seen tourqe plus. thay are close to the std tourqes bits but the tips are a lot more rounded to help prevent rounding out and snapping teeth off.
