i found a m1009 in the junk yard at lunch break today. (yes i go yunkyard hopping at lunch) i know they have the 6.2 and i think a th400 right? looks like a 208 shifter, d44 front and 12b rear. is this correct. i looked into the
1 1/4 ton pickups when i needed a new plow truck and know that they had extra gussets in the frame. is this also true for the m1009? i'm trying to get the frame from it but will not know if i can till next week. i'm also looking a a complete m1009 so any help would be great.

blazer is 6.2/th400/208 and should be 10 bolts on both axles. and the extra gussets are in the last 2-3 years.

what where the last years?

does anyone know the years the m1009 were made? or any other facts

the one in the junk yard had a drain/fill level plug on the front axel cover like a 44

The 10 bolt front has the drain plug too, and it doesn't look like the rear 10 bolt either, it almost looks like the 12 bolt shape kind of like an egg.
:D
No idea what the last years were.
