Never knew how spoiled I was.
Used to have a big 60 gallon 2 stage oiled compressor. Did anything I wanted it to.
Hauled it around several moves including down to KY and installing 220 in two different rental houses. Moved in with my now wife and didn’t have space for it or the time for my automotive hobby like I did before. Sold it for more than I paid 10 years before.
Got a CH 16gallon that was rated at 200psi. Worked great. Did everything I need then and now.
Then the motor died last year.
Cheaper to buy new than fix so I looked around. Couldn’t find a similarly high rated model.
Got this:

Bigger tank I liked but only rated at 150psi.
Problem is I am really missing the extra oomph my last two compressors had. My Silverado and the wife’s Yukon’s lug nuts are torqued to 140ftlbs. This can’t break them loose most of the time.
Am I missing the higher psi or the higher capacity more?
What can I do to resolve this considering 8 months ago I spent $270 on what is an otherwise very nice air compressor?
Reading about receiver tanks and/or creating higher psi in them. Want to hear what you guys think and would do before I take random internet advice.
