Hello fellas, looks like my trans is done. Have a th350 np203 combo. Any idea how much a rebuild should cost here in california.

Are you pulling it? That will save you some bucks. If that's the case I would think you could get it done for under a grand depending on where you live and what upgrades you want/need. Here in the SF Bay area things tend to be more expensive than say around Sacramento. But some shops would be high volume shops and would rather have a 350 ready for the customer so they build them on their time, saving you money.

Get a parts list from whomever you get a quote from, and also find out the warranty and list it here. The trans gurus here will be able to tell you if it's a decent quote based on parts used and labor, which is much easier than pulling a number from thin air on how much it should cost.

That's just my 2 cents worth.

i would plan on a grand

Bout right....Got mine done a couple of weeks ago when the case broke in two. So that price included a good used replacement case, rebuild, new sprag and hardened outer ring, also upgraded the converter and 12 quarts of fluid....The bill was $1100

What's it doing? Some clutch pack rebuilds can be done very cheaply like under $100. Main thing is to blow your tranny cooling lines out before running rebuilt unit.

I'm in California, my guy charges about 600$ for a bench job and that usually includes upgrading hard parts. New pump, converter etc.. where are you located?

Normally I would have already droped the trans myself but Im currently dealing with real bad back pain. I made the mistake of changing the fluid out of the trans because it had a bad leak at the pan. Problems started about 200 miles after that. I belive the pump went out as its making alot of noise around the torque converter, and now wont shift at all. Im looking around in los angeles area, I live in Long Beach Ca.

Make sure the filter is seated correctly, as that can cause some issues sometimes as well.....
