Problem with that 427 you are looking at, is that if you talk with them, I almost guarantee you will have NO warranty for it.
I spoke with them about putting either a Camaro SB in my truck, or a Vortec long block, but TPI'ing it of course. I was told that would completely void the warranty of the engine.
To that companies credit, I have a friend that purchased an engine from them a few years back, and he has been daly driving it since, with no problems.
