Need pic's of a K5 with 38.5x15", 37" or 35" bogger's???

38.5 Boggers..are 35 1/2" tall with 8-10 lbs of air..on 10" wide wheels.

I'm considering selling them...now that I have 44's now..
The 38.5's are just not tall enough...high centering was my issue.

If I were going to buy boggers again..
I'd get 39.5's or 44's...the price was right..that's why I bought the 38.5's..

I don't think I would air down to 8-10 psi considering I don't have beadlock's. I wheel mud and hill climbs with ledges but not like serious rock crawling. Do you have any pic's of your k5 on those 38.5" bogger's? I would really like to see more pic's of rig's running the 38.5x15" bogger's just to get an idea. And oh ya the fender clearence shouldn't be an issue for me becuse I /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif my fenders up pretty good.

But I think I'm gonna go with the 38.5x15's just because I need to keep that 14 bolt and dana 60 off stuff. And ya I changed the title but picture's are still welcome. Anyone else run the 38.5x15's????

I tried running them at 11 lbs...
They didn't flex at all untill I hit 10 lbs..
I got my best traction..with 8 lbs..and I didn't have beadlocks..

That is alot of /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif you have there though. Sorry to bother you again but do you have any shots of your rig front the front or rear so I can see how wide they are. And oh ya I really like your rig.

Do you run 15x10" wheels? what backspacing? I really want to get them out there width wise.

Yes...10" wide..4"BS Wheel Vintuques..."Super Trucker" wagons..

You'll find...you may have to do even more trimming..
to keep the fenders off the tires..

The more pic's of your rig the merrier. And I'm gonna put some zero rates and a 2" body lift and probably still trim to clear the 38.5's.

No matter what I did...mine always hit..
I trimmed mine a couple times..

I would suggest...getting the tires...
then figure ways to clear them.. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif

Just my 2cents worth here...

My old 35x16 Boggers that I had on my CJ7 only measured 33.5 inches tall on a 10 inch wide 15 inch rim. The guy that bought them was PISSED OFF. Thats why I got them.

Then they were to small and I went to 39.5s. I ran 8-10 psi in the ALL OVER the place. Never aired up higher. But, I rarely ran on the street. Maybe a couple miles a trip, but that was it.

Yes, the Jeep was lighter than Blazer, but still...
At the duens I have them down to about 3 in the rear tires and maybe 5 psi at the most in the front. Barely starting to bulge.

Got 44TLS on the Blazer now. Will probably run 10 all the time with it... when I finally get to enjoy it.

[/ QUOTE ]Thats a little suprising to me. Mine are about 33" tall and mine are spread out on 14's. There is no comparison between the 35x16 and 35x14.50....the 16" is taller, wider, and has the larger, deeper lugs like the 39.5.

Actually the 35x16" Boggers have the same tread depth as the 39.5's which is 26/32. Only the 38.5x11's have more at 29/32.
