I like those, when my Bilsteins finally go in the rear, I think I will take off the bolt ons and go with those weld ons. I like them right on the tube instead of hanging down. It would be even better if I could throw some plate underneath to protect the bolts as well.
well, I finally got it done. Let start by saying I don't weld very good, and I only have a small 110 mig buzz box , so I had a friend's dad do the welding. all I did was cut-down the stock bracket and "roll" it up on the tube. I also had him add a 1/4" thick skid plate from the bracket edge to the bottom of the axle tube, so it doesn't catch on anything. I still have some trimming to do, so the shock body doesn't contact the pointed edges, but I think it turned-out ok. better than nothing
looks pretty good to me.shouldnt hang up on anything with the plating.like you said just looks like you need to grind off the ears of the bracket so the shock doesnt hit when it moves.
