Need some 6.2L help! It has been awhile, would like to get her going.

I have made some progress on getting my built 6.2L TD suburban going.

I have the fuel pump and filter mounted and hoses ran;

I still need to wire the fuel pump and the fuel heater.

I have the exhaust mocked up, just waiting for my buddy to help fab and weld some hangers;

I need some help wiring up my alternator. I went to a '93 serp system with a CS Alt and purchased a painless wiring pigtail. The alt has the 2 wire pigtail and 1 post. Here is the back of the alt;

This is my old alt pigtail. I believe it goes back to the post on my glow plug controller;

Nice filter, is it in harm's way? I'm ready to swap out my exhaust too, what muffler is that? Looks good

It should be safe enough. Really only place I could fit it. It is a DD, tow and woods rig, not a hard core crawler.

The muffler came with the Diamond Eye Exhaust.

Wiring Exhaust Gas Temp Probe

My EGT probe came to me like this;

Can I just wire it up to the gauge?
