Mine is 10 years old. I use it all of the time. Cuts square, still tight. I do use a 3" machinist square to square the rear fence instead of using the guide on the side as it's off almost half a degree. Never replaced as much as a bearing in it. Get good bi-metal blades like Starret or the like and it will treat you well.
I rigged mine up with coolant early on but it ended up being more of a hassle than it was worth as it doesn't have the built in drip tray like yours so I took it off. Even then on 4" solid round it cuts fine and the blade or part do not get too hot.
Without the bracket the table is pretty flimsy and won't stay square to the blade. At least it was on mine.
Also, run the rear blade guide as close to the work or vice as reasonably possible without interfering. Helps keep the cut straight.
