need some help on a 98 k3500

thats a good one. maybe disk is hanging up only getting partial disengagment. he's right, input shaft should have been inspected when the clutch was out, standard procedure. but dumber things than that have been done before.

do NOT grease, or anti seize or otherwise put anything on the input shaft. clean thoroughly with brakecleen and dry thats it. don't let anyone tell you otherwise. grease attracts girt and clutchdust and hangs up the clutch disks and intermediate plate causing hangup and partial disengagment. ruining the clutch faster that you can imagine.

i know nothing bout the clutch thats in this thing... i just dropped it off at the trans shop and sadi new clutch told them the symptoms..... 800 later i drove off with same issues.... this is why i thoutght maybe not clutch
