Alright guys my brother is buying my truck a cam for X-mas just need to pick it out. I'm thinking about Lunati's VooDoo cams.

I've got a 77k5 with a 350. Already has Eddy carb, Rpm airgap intake, and headers and exhaust.

Here's what I'm looking at. I'm leaning toward the last two, just don't have any experience with picking out the right cam and would really appreciate what yall think would work.

Lunati 60100LK

Very strong torque and increased HP for mild performance rebuilds. Compatible with stock type fuel injection. Works great for pleasure/ski boats, and mild towing applications. Excellent in oval port engines

Duration @ .050 IN/EX : 207°/213°
Gross Valve lift IN/EX.437''/.454''
LSA and ICL112/108

Lunati 60101LK

Best mild performance cam. Works excellent in fuel injection applications. Makes approximately 19'' vacuum at idle. Great for performance oriented marine applications and heavy duty 454 Dually towing applications. Perfect ''STREET ROD'' cam. Has SLIGHTLY noticeable idle, works with stock converter, A/C, power brakes and STOCK valve springs in MOST cases. Excellent in oval port engines.

Duration @ .050 IN/EX :
213°/219°
Gross Valve lift IN/EX.454''/.468''

RPM Range:
1000-5500

Lunati 60102LK

Mid-level performance street cam with excellent drivability. Exceptional replacement for ''muscle car type cams'' with automatic transmissions. Works well with stock type exhaust manifolds and dual plane intake with mild 4 bbl carb. This is an AWESOME 4x4 and Performance Marine cam where ''DRY'' exhaust is used. Improved valve springs and roller rockers are recommended. Excellent in oval port engines.
Advertised Duration :262°/268°
Duration @ .050 IN/EX : 219°/227°
Gross Valve lift IN/EX.468''/.489''
LSA and ICL112/108
RPM Range:1400-5800

cool, Think I'll have any issues with the rpm range between 1000-5500.

whatcha mean?

my means going with that cam was this..

vortec heads and no work = max .475" lift (supposedly...)
well the .474" lift cam is what I was going to go with
but that is pushing the limits....

their note on the .474" lift cam was
HYDRAULIC ROLLER: Good mid-range power, good with 3.23-3.73 gear. Largest with stock converter
RPM Range: 1200-5200

the one I went with .457" lift said
HYDRAULIC ROLLER: Strong torque, good mileage, for stock to mildly modified engines.
RPM Range: 1000-5000

hence why I went with that one....
I wanted Strong torque over mid-range power...

also side note.. this is a hydraulic roller cam.... (not sure if that is what your looking for) :wink1:
