need some help setting up shackle angle

i've got my SAS all mocked up. the front crossmember is set to just about stock wheelbase, and the rear hangers are set as far forward as they'll go (due to the bend in the frame) i've currently got the springs hanging free, and the shackles are pretty much vertical. shackles are 4" center to center. is this acceptable?

Thats as good as your gonna get with that setup. Personally a longer shackle and more angle would look better to me. I dont like shackle to be vertical when they are free because then when the droop the go the opposite way... not nessecarily bad but definetly not effective.

what front springs are you using? how much free arch do they have?
