need some opinions here: i have a chance at some cases and trannies

well i just ran into a buddy who has some trannies and cases he is selling or gonna scrap, he is a junker so it will go to waste, anything i dont buy off him

so i need some opinions from you guys

he has a 79 th350 and 203 case and front line

and an 88 or 89 700r4 and 241 case and front line

its all good running stuff

my pick whatever i want

i would only want to snag up what is most rare or sought after, and i need to know fair current market value of each of the 241 and the 700r4 and the th350

what would be the most you would give for each in good used shape

im going over there at noon friday to get what i want to buy

i only want to buy what would be good trading material, etc

i think the th350 i will be getting for sure cuz i think i can get it for 50 bones

the 241 and 700 i dunno ?

or should i just run from it all? would i not be able to pretty easily find new homes/trade for any of these ?

actually, ill just ask this real quick- since i already know im gonna snag the th350 up:

are the 241 worth more or more sought after than a th350 would be ?
whats a fair value on a good used 27 spliner one

Take it all , and sell what you don't use .

they are starting to make 241-based doublers... so my guess is their stock is going to go up. 203 is useful for that also.

Assuming the case isn't shot or any other major damage, trannys can almost always be sold as cores for at least $100. If you can get this stuff from the guy for a good price, I'd buy it all if I was you...

well if i gave 200 i could get all of it and front shafts too,

but i live out in the middle of no where and theres very very few ppl to trade deal with

so hmm

i really dont wanna take in anything that i couldnt at least trade off or something

ya know
