Need some suggestions for 2500HD build

I believe the stock rims are 6.5" wide. With 285's they look really sucked in , IMO. My hunting partner just put some 285's mounted on 16"x8"s on his 2500hd and they look great. I'll try to snap a couple pics of my tire/wheel combo for you tomorrow.

i'd appreciate that. most of the pics i've seen have been 285's on the stockers (which is what i want), and they look pretty good to me
