to add to what was just stated above by readymix (which is good info, by the way), if you ever want answers to a question specific to your vehicle, you need to tell us what the heck it is. yeah, you said its a suburban - but in regard to your questions, knowing the kind of motor it has would be important. i suppose i could run down to the junk yard and get a nice 80's honda set of cams and mail them to you - $100 each. people do wierd stuff and put wierd things in their trucks sometimes.

well i dont really have alot of extra money cept for stuff on my truck and its a 89 350sb gmc v1500 4x4 suburban

it's not so much that we're asking you to drop the $25 to become a member so much as do a little research, find out how the forum works, and don't use the wrong boards for questions like this. it wouldn't surprise me if this thread were deleted soon. and, since you're looking to buy parts, you might want to search in the for sale forum - check the "search" function in the tool bar above.

while i can really appreciate that, $25 in comparison to getting headers, a new cam, etc - whatever else you wanna do isn't much. therefore, your argument probably won't carry much weight in trying to get a helpful response to this post.

yeh i see where your comin from and i did check the forum and found some stuff but i cant tell the guy i want it bc it wont let me

if you click on the dude's user name, you should be able to send him an e-mail. that's kinda the only way non-members can get ahold of people on the for sale board.
