I'm looking to get any info or contact #'s for anyone you know that is parting out a First Gen Blazer. There is a unique part I'm having a hell of a time locating.

I've got a 72 in Napa that may be going down the parts road. Its missing a lot of stuff and has bad rust. What part are you looking for?

I'm looking for the fuel filler neck assembly. The part that goes from where the gas cap screws on to where it terminates under the bed where the soft fuel lines connect. Said part also has the vent line that connects near the top. Here's a pic of what I need. It is the bottom part that looks like a snake.

Good news and bad news. Mine has it but I'm reluctant to remove it until I decide whether to part the truck. Why are they so hard to find? They all had one.

Well the pic I posted above is the part I'm gonna buy. Giving $100 for it. Hadn't decided to do it because of the cost but just gonna swallow the pill on this one and get it to be done and get Big Blzn back on the road. Life lesson: Don't smash your on a boulder.

Fesser, I suppose they are hard to find for several reasons. One, don't find too many first gen is wrecking yards in SoCal. Two, most people, IMO, are trying to sell the whole tub intact and not piece meal it out like they would other gens of trucks. And three, there are no companies that make them as a chinese or aftermarket version like an LMC or whoever else.
