In my shop. Doing stuff.
Yep. Figured I would get more clicks with that title, but it what I need to find.

I have a Klutch hand held air punch for 3/16 holes. Has a 3/8 deep throat. I need something deeper to punch the holes farther into material. Without doing a full on metal worker.

Has anyone ran across something like that? This is what I am using now.

Have you done any 24 gauge stainless with it? I just did 22 holes in a piece this morning. I would think my hands would be done after that. That is why I am trying to find a powered unit. Electric/air/hydraulic, whatever.

Not much steel. Mostly 14ga aluminum so I'm not sure how that would compare.

How deep you looking for?

Here's a bench mount hand operated unit.

One goes to 5 tons, the other 7.3...

Thanks guys. I was hoping for a hand held air or electric unit. But no dice.

@Desert_K5 PM me pictures and prices. I have waited this long, another few months won't matter.

Will do. Shipping would kill the deal they’re heavy bench units. I’ll pull them out and shoot over some pics.

Yes, I'll shoot pics tonight.

@ktmoutfront here’s a few pics. The smaller punch has been painted brown (nice job) but it appears to be the same Roper Whitney color underneath. It doesn’t have a name plate to identify the brand, it is heavy and well built. The blue one is too heavy for me to lift up on the table alone. The handle is removed so it fit under my plasma table for storage. Either one will come with some dies, I have to figure out what fits what though. They were mixed up when I got them. I’m open to offers and not looking to get rich.

It looks like the dies probably work in both units.

Dies are usually generic in this type of punch press. I have no idea on pricing. Give me an "I don't want to get rich" number.

Do you want both of them?
