neutral safety switch for manual trans

...So i think i got 1978 zbar pedals... 1991 manual column

Column is irrelevant if we're talking about pedal switches. Your Z-bar pedals have a different bracket from my hydro pedals. Stock switch may be different? But really, it's just a bumper switch positioned so it hits the pedal. You could solve this problem 100 different ways.

Have you looked for safety switch wiring under your dash? You should have at least one set of switch wires even if you don't have both.

I have posted a pic of hydro pedals since thats what I had laying around. The manual pedals in the truck have the same hole in the same location, the difference being that they have a mechanical linkage connected where the hydro nub would be.

Slide your hand up the passenger side of the pedal to just below where the linkage rod connects, you should feel a small hole.

Looking at these hydro pedals I pulled out a few weeks ago makes me remember I just broke off the switch, I had no idea the could be worth money on ebay.
