Ever go to look at/buy/pick up a truck and it just doesn't work out?

I did just that this last weekend, drove from VT to upper Maine.
We're talkin' moose country/Canada kinda Maine as in an 8hr drive way north.

Anyway, made the drive and the truck I went up the for (72 4x4 8ft fleet)
turned out to be nothing I wanted to buy. :doah:

BUT on the way we had seen another on the side of the road and said "lets check that out on the way back through just for kicks", so @ 9pm we stopped where the truck was.
Turned out to be a 72 flat bed dually. Nice clean truck, so I bought it!
Drove it all the way back from Maine, low gears and all.

That IS a beauty!! :thumb:

How much weight can that carry? Do you think it would hold my '72K5 up on that flatbed?

Do you want to trade for something a little LARGER??? :wink1:

I see in the background that he's got a few more lookers. Were those for sale too?

Those pics were taken behind the shop, thank you very much. :p: :D

Nope, just a truck bed.
Metal guy's coming soon to pull all the old junk outta here.

Is the bed long enough to haul a 1st Gen Blazer?

Yes it is, just haven't tried it yet.
The deck is 12ft long, a 1st gen should fit nicely.
