Pulled the knuckles off a dana 60 i just got. And I never seen a king pin like this. Is this something someone did because they stripped the Allen bolt?

Nope other side is normal. But I found this, its to adjust the camber/caster I think
Looks like you found it. Ive had a couple over the years.
I assume it's not really necessary? And will pop out? It had a factory plastic bushing on top of it.

Yeah its probably stuck in there by the grease. Magnet it out.

Never understood that and the offset ball joint “caps” or whatever. I really like the plastic shim between the knuckle and spindle/hub. Easy enough to set once and forget it. Caster is not adjusted there anyway.
