New 3 wire O2 and some results.

Well, I'm not sure why but my fuel pressure gauge is sitting at about 52 lbs or so. It has an 18 lb spring in it. I'm wondering if the spring or something has failed. I'll pull it apart tomorrow if it warms up above freezing.

I'm gonna be on the safe side and order the adjustable spring today.
Before you do that pull the return line to the tank and run it in a bucket, then check fuel pressure. If it is blocked the pressure will run up as high as the pump will go as the regulator has no way of relieving pressure.

Well it was 70 yesterday and today.

The first thing I did was pull my fuel pressure gauge off and I'm glad I did.

As you can see it is broken. When I first unscrewed the gauge it was still stuck at 50 lbs. Tapped on it a few times and it went to 34.

So, I'll order a new gauge, check the pressure and then go back to looking at the programming.

I also got my APU1 Autoprom. :woot:

Are the chips solder onto the MEMCALs? I'm having a really tough time getting the old one off so I can install the new moates chip.

Dave have you soldered the sockets into the memcals?

Yes, I have soldered the sockets into the memcals. I have a 40 watt soldering iron, with a fine point tip and very thin solder I use when soldering on the memcals.

Another option for the AutoProm, is the adapter board from Moates.net?? I use the Moates.net adapter board with my Ostrich2.

If your going to get a soldering iron get one that has lots of power, not just 40 watts. Mine is considered a soldering station and the box has adjustments in power. With all the extra power you can dail in the tempreture needed and when you touch your solder point it recovers to that temp FAST! Mine is a HAKO 936 I bought years ago at the hobby shop for when my son and I were building RC Rock Crawlers.
