After doing some research on here. I took a bestop bikini top for the 55-75 jeep cj #52505-01 and put some button snaps on it and well here it is.

I'm just surprised it's wide enough ... I'd be skeerd of a skinny girl's bikini on a fat chick, ya know, and the Blazer ain't skinny when compared to a Jeep.

Still, looks good!

Thanks it's wide enough and fits pretty good. I got the idea after doing some research on here. If you do a search for best top 52505-01 you will find a few that run it on here.

Did you already have a softtop on there? As in pre-existing snaps on the windshield frame?

Nope I went to walmart and picked up a couple of snap kits in the sewing section. They were $1.77 a pack I got two. They come with everthing you need to attach them. I measured then took a 3/32 drill bit and drilled holes in the bikini top and applied the snaps. I then drilled the holes and attached the snaps to my windshield frame. Pretty easy took me about an hour.

The reason I asked is because I have a Tigertop already, and would not want to add more snaps just for the bikini.. wonder if I could just add snaps to the bikini where I already have body studs on the windshield frame..?

I don't see why not. Just make sure you get the rite size snap. :waytogo:

sweet how much did the top cost??

where did you buy it at??

I bought mine at desert rat here in AZ. I paid with tax 52 bucks and I had another 4 bucks in snaps from walmart. So for less than 60 bucks you can have a nice top that will keep you dry and not :angry1: I did find tops for about 43 bucks but then you add shipping and it's about the same local. :thumb:

Ditto here! I like that setup. Nice work. :thumb:

Thanks Craig, your rig is too nice to run a bikini top. I would be hurting :eek1: to :doah: screw snaps on your rig for a bikini.

Couldn't the snaps be on a little skinny piece of flat stock the width of the frame , and bolted to the little brackets that held the hardtop on , making the snaps a bolt on adapter :dunno:

Yeah I had thought about getting a piece of flat steel tubing like xnoahx did with his piece of wood for his bikini. I just got lazy.
