I built this out of 6" 3/16" C channel and 1/4" plate got some 4" 100watt landing lights to go in the holes, 3/4" D rings to be welded on. What do you guys think?

I'm a big fan of overkill ... for some stuff, sure, we want to save weight. For other items "too much" can be just right ... those items that come into contact with rocks, trees, import cars or small Third World countries :haha:

Is that for front or rear? [I'm thinking back, 'cuz I don't see any winch provisions, but :dunno: ]

what type of lights and how much? im thinkin about cutting some holes in my rear bumper and using them as aux or reverse lights....that thing looks great btw

they are just standard 4" tractor light housings with 100watt landing lights, picked them up for about $15 each at the kenworth parts counter. they are super bright too, they are awesome in the fog, cuts right through it

did you use a bi-metal holesaw to cut the holes so good?

yes a 4 3/4" holesaw, a can of wd40 and ALOT of patience! took forever! I got about 8hours into this thing and about 6 blending discs

were did you get the tractor light housings?

3 more questions for ya.

How did you accomplish the bend in the bumper? And dont you have a custom rear bumper on your truck too? how hard wass it to take apart the tractor lights and put the landing lights in there place in the housing?

Thanks
