Hey guys been awhile since ive been on :doah: gotta renew my membership. Anyways been really busy enjoying summer this year after my surgery to help correct my issue of severe ulcerative colitis that ive been suffering with for 2 years. More surgeries to come but at least im able to enjoy the outdoors in comfort now. We used to have a 22Ft travel trailer that I pulled with the Tahoe but it was a pain hooking up every time you want to move or find trailer friendly parking at attractions so sold it last fall and lucked out when a good friend told me his dad was selling this RV to upgrade to a bigger unit, and it was a chevy! I had to have it!

So this April we pulled the trigger $5000 for a 1988 Chevy G30 Class C 19Ft with 90,000 km. With new tires and a freshly rebuilt 350 TBI 2 years prior.

Traveled to Vancouver Island twice now with it first trip the EGR valve stuck open creating a huge vacuum leak only noticable at idle, so when I got it home tore into it to replace the EGR. Also freshened up the TBI with a rebuilt kit and new fuel filter, changed all fluids and filters and filled up the rear diff and engine with full synthetic. Had some spare blazer TBI goodies around so didn't take me long to convince myself that it needed the TBI spacer, injector spacer, and the salad bowl mod :woot: This thing moves now leaving me having to watch my speed carefully as it will climb without you noticing. Averaging 11MPG in the mountains from Edmonton to Vancouver Island 100-120km/h.
Now my question for the brother hood is how can I get cruise control?
