We went up to Tellico for the clean up last weekend. I ramped it for the first time since redoing the suspension... once I get the shocks redone it should do even better.

whats your tow rig have for a motor a 5.3?
tom ford

yep, 5.3L... I just put it in tow mode, turn the suspension setting to firm and cruise... It also has 4:10 gears so that helps alot.

and the ten bolt held up to the 42s all the way up schoolbus, I only had to winch at the ledge before the sideways rock... I have only seen one rig make that spot and that was with an extendable wheelbase (crazy chit) I did break an outer stub shaft when I had to back up while coming down guardrail bypass... but hey.

the suspension flex is due to the rear shackle flips with johnny joints, I also inboarded the rear shocks... In the front I moved the rear hanger forward and made some new shackles... It will flex much better when I get rid of the current front shocks (currently my limiting straps)...

I thought all the trails were closed until april 1st. were they open just for teh cleanup?

most of the hard trails were closed, the only one open that i was interested in was schoolbus...

looks great, lots a flex.
i see your still running a 10 bolt with 42's. hows that holding up?

im hoping to have my truck ready end of may beginning of june for a tellico run to test it out. nice truck man!

the ten bolt does ok, because I run spicer non greasable joints, and I dont push too hard on the skinny pedal... I will have a 60 soon....

I think its about 5 inches of lift.... Im running 4 inch lift springs in the front with the rear hanger moved forward and longer shackles. In the rear its stock springs plus a leaf or two (dont remember ) and custom flip shackles w/ johnny joints.

kert built them that way for ryan22re, Im sure if you asked him to he would build some more. Its similar to the alcan superflex setup.
