I'm not new to blazers just the 1st Gen blazers. I built a 78 but ended up having to sell it about 6 months ago. Well I stumbled upon a 72 CST Blazer and got it for 400 bucks. Needs a motor which I have already and LOTS of Rust repair. It also does not have the instrument bezel for the gauges. I'm learning that the CST was the top of the line model back in 72.............that accurate? My plans right now are to not do a full and total show stopper restore, I just want to get it solid again and driving. My body work skills are limited so this will be a learning experience. I LOVE the 1st gen blazers and always wanted one when I had my 78, but here in Alaska finding a 1st gen blazer in good shape for less than 8-10 grand is hopeless, so I guess 400 bucks and alot of work is my only option. Heres what I'm starting with and I'll get up more pics later of interior.
