hey guys
Ive gotta 85 K5 from uncle sam. and ive gotta pro comp 6'' susp lift, i want to put 35x14.5x16 boggers on it. will i have to trim fenders even though im not gonna get into real extreme terrain?

Ok thanks. but what do you mean by stuff them in the fenders? rock crawlin and lots of articulation?

Although you don't plan on getting too extreme off road, It never sounds good when your suspension travels more than expected and you tire starts to grab a wheel well. I've got 35 inch toyo m/ts with a 6 inch lift and 2 inch body lift and I have some nice chuncks missing because of my rear wheel well got hungry. (and trust me, if you have boggers on there then you will get into more hairy stuff than you bargained for simply because you can and I've seen boggers rearange body panels with ease. I always air on the more lift side, but thats just me...

the boggers will be wide for sure but with a 6 inch lift he should be fine. i stuff my 35s no problem but they are only 12 inches wide. it all depends on the rims and stuff to. whats the specs on your rig?

I run 33x12.5s on a 2-3 inch lift, front ones only rub a bit if I'm turning and articulating at the same time, shouldn't be a big deal with the lift you're going.

I have 40x17 gumbos and stock 64"s in the rear and the only reAson they rub is because the axle is moved back 2". How in the world is a 35" rubbing anything but the inner wheelwell back there? Lol

I had some 35x12.50s with 4" springs up front with no antisway for a while. I cut the fenders to match the inners up front (I think it looks better anyway) and they never rubbed again. I wheel with buggies in the rocks btw.

Yeah my rears were stock forever with 40x16's and they only rub inside on the fenderwell.

I run 33x14.50's on 12" wide wheels on my V3500 with 6" and my tires rub going through a dip when turning and my springs are stiff!

I think with tires that wide you'll still have issues up front without some trimming.
