New here. Just got this 1970 Blazer. I am hooked. Where is the best place to get the disc conversion brakes?
Welcome!
I'd grab the parts from a front axle (from the knuckles out) from any 70's to early 80's 1/2 ton truck and swap them over. Pretty sure the rest of it can be had at a parts store for a stock 71-72.
Thanks. Also, this blazer has a 3" body lift. Do you recommend reading that out and switching to a suspension lift?

They do get a little brittle, but not enough to really be a problem. It's not like you are rolling them up in those temps. I've had a soft top in Utah for 10+ years. It doesn't seal tight against the wind but if the heater is in good shape it'll be fine so long as it isn't your daily driver.I'd leave the hardtop where it is. The softopper should be ok in snow, but I live in CA so not sure about how vinyl windows act in super cold weather. They might get brittle.
