New Interior Pics

edit.. opps didnt see the other thread. That whole set up is amazing! thats exactly how i want to run mine, its a DD but i still wheel it enough to want a cage for the extra protection. Is your cage tied into ur frame?

The cage is only tied into the frame at the sliders/nerfs. I did not want the damage done to the frame from uneven tie ins even though the bumpers and sliders already do that. The cage is for single instance mishaps and to help tighten up the body. It has done the last quite well - I could tell it handled better before I got out of the parking lot on my first ride. And I hope it stops the body cracks and stress points already visible.

Thanks!

It is a Bestop unit for Jeeps :eek1::crazy::D

Hey man, do you have a part# for that seat? About how much was it? I am going to have to tub my rear for tire clearance and I am needing a skinnier seat to put back in after I move the wheelwells in a couple inches on both sides. How wide is that seat (outside edge to outside edge)?
TIA
Leper

BTW.....Still love the name, makes me laugh.

Hehe, why do you ask, 2Dogs....? LOL

BST 39343-15 CJ fold and tumble fabric - $306 - and it is app 34" wide, maybe a bit wider with the brackets, I can try to get more accurate if you need.

how are was it to find those 2003 silverado seats? Also how hard was it to install them. Im looking to put those type of seats in my truck. prolly not leather but those seats

Very easy on ebay, may be difficult and time consuming to find the price and color you want. I bet you could find them practically new in cloth for $200 or less. I think 2002 or 3 and newer will all work but require you to fab your own mounts.

These were very easy to mount TO MY CAGE in the balzer - the seat mount tubing is 1.5" as close to the floor as you can get and that places your ride height about perfect. You can not use the stock seat pedestals from a blazer.

Does your truck have the flat floor boards/ lower than the tranny and dl tunnel?

edit: I see Blazer in your sig - assuming you are talking about that and not the truck you mentioned.

Cool. Good luck, let me know if you have questions or need help tracking down seats. That integrated belt design looks like it comes in 99-05 year trucks.

Did you look at the link from my first post here? It will give you an idea on seat height/location.

My driving height is probably within an vertical inch of the stock config.

Thanks for the help. I have been looking for the seats on ebay. But with out luck so far. Im going to be looking for either black or gray cloth. So far the dashboard, door panels and lower door panels are Black and have been redone. So now im looking for new seats. I will be buying new Carpet too once i get the seats.

Im not good at welding. So once i get seats ill prolly have a buddy craft me up a seat mount.

If you happen to come across another seat let me know.

Also did your factory center console fit or did you have to buy a aftermarket one?

Thanks
Alan

The seats do tilt forward but not really far enough to get by. And the driver side is power = slow going forward. The auto slide on the stock passenger seat was not retained.

I think some very good fabricators could design a latchable tilt forward seat that would be cool on the passenger side....

I used the Tuffy console - they are strong enough to crawl over and that is the way I go back if I need to these days.

yeah i like the idea of making it tilt up umm i like the 2nd post. Might bid on it. lol gotta check the bank first lol.

im a poor boy in the army lol Army boys dont get paid to good.
