Ok so I get the chance to buy a pretty clean blazer here in the salt belt.
So the guy I got it from forgot to tell me the fuel gauge didn't work. I got in drove home and went heck ya full tank of fuel. Well thats not the case. I drove probally 50 miles and the gauge went down a little and the other night the truck died. So I get it home and the tank is empty but gauge still says full.

1. full gauge says full when tank is empty ?
2. oil pressure gauge is pegged?

I am thinking it's a ground of some form but where do i look?

Ok I put around 7 gallons in the tank try it again and nothing:mad: So i shoot some carb cleaner down the intake and it fires no problem. So I did some searching and found if you hook 12volts to the wire hanging off the fuel pump relay the pump should run? I got nothin. When you hook power to the wire does it still run through the relay ? If so anyway to bypass it? The k5 was running awsome just before all this happend.

that wire should bypass the fuel pump relay. If you are not getting the pump to run with 12 volts to that wire, check the Resistance of the wire running to the pump from the relay. You also may want to check to see if you are getting a signal to turn the relay on.

I got to get my meter from my shop tomorrow. Like i said i was driveing home and it just quit so i am guessing it sucked up all the crap off the bottom of the tank and that was the end of that.
