I almost wished I had gone with a narrow 35-36” tall on Big Ugly. The 38’s I had were just too heavy.
After driving it around in the snow yesterday, my wife has decided to name it "THE HULK"... It is loud and breaks through everything.
Thinking about flatbed plans today... time to dig out my computer and start designing.
Also have a list of items to replace/rebuild. I have rounded up the parts to replace u joints and a rebuild kit for the alternator.

That's another project I haven't posted here. I'm rebuilding a Honda XR650L that I took on trade for the old international truck. Should have that back together this weekend. I'm swapping out the frame.
New wheels installed with 4 lug nuts in each wheel... the set I ordered on Amazon didn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling (9/16" thread with 3/4" hex). So while those go back and I find another set, I found these laying around.
Next step is trimming fenders a little to make it driveable.

I removed the wheels, dismounted the tires, and dropped them off for powder coating.

I had fleeing thoughts of selling or parting this out to reduce the number of projects... then I got the call the wheels were done so I installed new tires to push my investment beyond what I could ever get out of it again to prevent further thoughts like that.
Fresh LT315/70R17 Back Country MT plus the one good MT that came with the wheels mounted.
Looks like I'll need some goodies from @cybrfire to get these to fit.

Starting to build my cart and plan the suspension. Plan its to run 56"springs in the front for 4-5" total lift

Since we put the Suburban up for sale, I swapped the 285s on GMT400 wheels into this truck then took it for a little road trip to pick up a flatbed.
What size were the tires that came on the H2’s? I love the truck/scenery pictures you’ve got on here 
The H2s came with 35" x 12.5. I replaced them with 315/75.

I put this one to use when we had a few inches of snow. A friend got stuck up a mountain road once trees started blowing down in a wind storm. Had to run up some snowy/ icy roads with a chain saw to clear a path.
Scored a SM465/NP208 yesterday.

Pulled this into the shop to check u joints. There is a vibration at 55-60 mph that gets worse with the hubs locked in. I didn't find an obvious problem, but I'll start pulling driveshafts and checking the joints are lubricating properly anyway.
