new lift - driveline issues & body lift question

hey i just got a 4'' lift from this guy in oakland and since he only had ubolts for 1/2 ton rear axles, we have yet to lift the rear. anyway we finished lifting the burb and now the front driveline is just a little bit too short. by about an inch. how much do new driveshafts cost? or is there an alternative...

also i think i'm going to get a 2'' body lift when i'm done lifting it. so what exactly do i have to change in order for everything to work properly? thanks. here's a couple of pics from the day (sorry no driveshaft pic)

Driveshaft spacers, itll help clear your exhaust pipe too where it crosses over

That don't look like 4" to me. More like 2".

did u lower ur t-case at all? is it automatic. if so with the body lift the only thing u have to do i weld in a piece of steel in ur linkage. it is usually supplied.
You have to basically replace all ur body mounts. pretty simple. im not much of a fan of body lifts. just my 2 cents. u should be able to clear 35's with a 4" suspension lift.

I can't see the front driveshaft coming up short with that little bit of lift. Are you pulling the slip joint all the way out, or are you getting hung up on the exhaust cross over pipe? Pictures are worth 1000 words here

i think that could be it. but it looks to me like it cant pull out any more. that stupid ass exhaust is in the way to so i'll need to change it. i'll snap a pic when i get home today.

With a 4 inch lift, you should def not be short. I had no problems with mine at all, it might be stuck. Also, for the body lift, I had a custom 2 inch one made, the only things I had to do were weld in a linkage extender, and cut the bottom of the fan shroud off. other then that, I had no problems what so ever.

My guess is you are only pulling the shaft apart up to where the seal stops it. Maybe you need to pull it a lil further. Yes it will destroy the seal. Grease that bad boy and keep it greased. I really can't see this being a big issue with only a 4" lift. That 1" spacer may be your other option.

I still have a good 2 1/2 inches of slip yoke left up front, so I can't understand why you came up short with what looks like 2" lift on yours.
